The Dark Side, Sure Mastery, The Hardest Word and A Richness of Swallows trilogies are all on general release. These are all stand alone trilogies in the ‘Black Combe set’, but more enjoyable if you read the series’ in order.

The Dark Side charts the sensual journey of academic musician Eva Byrne as she struggles to overcome painful shyness, sexual inhibition and personal tragedy. Lonely, unsophisticated, desperately seeking love and approval, Eva is easy prey for sensual and experienced Nathan Darke.

He wants her submission, and he knows how to go about getting it. Eva is quickly caught up by the whirlwind of his effortless seduction, though she has her own reasons for agreeing to join him in his world of pain and pleasure, on The Dark Side.

Inexplicably fascinated and at the same time totally frustrated by his new submissive, Nathan is increasingly drawn to her as she opens up in his hands and he realises there is much, much more to his latest playmate than he ever could have imagined.

The next trilogy, Sure Mastery, is a tie in story to The Dark Side. Desperate to escape her tragic past, Ashley McAllister reinvents herself as a landscape photographer in the atmospheric West Yorkshire moorland. Talented, independent, determined, she settles into her new life – only to have her past come crashing back when she meets up with Tom Shore, the one man she hoped never to see again. He exacts his own brand of justice, but it soon becomes clear he wants more than just his pound of flesh from Ashley.

I thought it was time for a change so I moved to Cumbria for my next flight of fancy – to whip up some fun and games in the English Lake District. The Hardest Word is another tie-in, eventually, but the tale starts somewhere else. It tells the story of Freya, a submissive who has been mute since infancy, whose ill-fated attempt to purchase the services of an experienced Dom lands her in trouble. A Euro-millions lottery winner, is Freya about to discover that some things are beyond price?.

A Richness of Swallows brings all the Black Combe characters together. It’s the story of Summer Jones, a friend of Ashley who appeared briefly in Sure Mastery, and Nathan Darke’s brother, Dan. Summer is a control freak, she likes everything neat and tidy and definitely doesn’t see herself as a submissive. Dan knows better, and when the pair meet at a BDSM club he sets out to show her what submission could mean. Once Summer’s inner submissive sees the light of day there will be no going back, no matter how hard she tries to run away from her desires.

I’ve also written several short stories. Re-Awakening is part of Totally Bound’s Paramours Anthology, and Right of Salvage, a swashbuckling pirate tale is part of the Jolly Rogered set. Bodywork is a MM story, part of the hugely popular Brit Boys : On Boys anthology. In the Eyes of the Law is a spanking short story, in Totally Bound’s Over The Knee anthology. As well as these, I wrote a quickie novella, Carrot and Coriander, just for fun.

I have a full length story in Totally Bounds What’s Her Secret Imprint. The Three Rs tells the tale of Abigail Fischer who mysteriously inherits a share in a construction firm from a man she swears she never met. The sparks fly when her new business partner makes it clear he has no need of an associate in the office. But in his bed – now that’s a different matter.

My other full length contemporary stories are Red Skye at Night, Faith, Spirit, and Tell Me. Chameleon and La Brat are my novels in Totally Bound’s Totally Five Star series, all set in the superb luxury of a world class hotel chain. For a complete change, Shared by the Highlanders and A Scandalous Arrangement are historical erotic romances.
